Special conditions: Vacancy open to all provinces
Remuneration: 118,184.00 Mtn(Gross monthly Income) and 13th Month paid in December (prorata depending on the starting date)
Benefits: Health insurance including partner and children (providing certificates); 2 days per month paid leaves
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES (NOT COMPLETE)
Implement the mission’s logistics policy on its base and provide the best support to the programmes in its area.
Mission 1: Ensure the proper functioning of the supply chain in accordance with ACF standards
- Ensure the implementation of authorized signatures on the base;
- Ensure compliance with ACF procedures at each stage of the supply chain;
- Ensure the best ratio of cost, quality and time of the supply chain (purchase, transport, stock) in its entire area;
- Advise, inform and alert on the processing of requests to applicants;
- Ensure and control deliveries to programmes and departments;
- Have a thorough knowledge of the market in their area;
- Supervise stock management.
Mission 2: Ensure the smooth running of the base’s general facilities
- Ensure the safety of the working and living environment;
- Manage the construction, rehabilitation and maintenance of buildings required for the operation of the base and the living environment;
- Ensure the supply of water and energy to all structures necessary for the operation of the base and the living environment;
- Ensure the planning of the movement of vehicles on the base (owned or rented);
- Ensure communication with the base’s staff on planned maintenance and related malfunctions.
Mission 3: Monitor and manage equipment
- Supervise the allocation and use of equipment;
- Ensure the installation, maintenance and repair of equipment;
- Update the list of equipment in the base;
- Oversee and manage the management of the vehicle fleet (maintenance, cost monitoring, administrative management);
- Manage the monitoring and maintenance of the generator.
Mission 4: Manage the base’s IT resources
- Resolve users’ current problems;
- Provide software support to users for information and e-mail sharing;
- Check that network equipment is working properly (NAS server, router, Internet modem, access point);
- Ensure that computer standards are respected on workstations;
- Supervise the data backup system (backup policy).
Mission 5: Contribute to the management of security on the base
- Collect information and report to the Field Coordinator;
- Contribute to the local security plan of the base;
- Ensure that the measures of the security plan are known and respected by the guards and drivers
- Write incident reports;
- Brief and train new expatriates and national staff in the security rules of the base.
Mission 6: Manage the logistics team at the base
- Organise the work of the base logistics department;
- Delegate activities and monitor their proper execution;
- Manage the recruitment of the logistics department staff;
- Contribute to the development of the training plan;
- Provide training for his/her team;
- Conduct evaluation interviews;
- Provide technical support to the team if necessary.
Mission 7: Reporting
- Produce a complete monthly logistics report:
- Follow-up of contracts
- Equipment list
- Fleet management report
- Generator management report
- ICT report
- Stock Report
SKILLS REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Logistics and/or Business administration or another related field. CIPP / CSCP / CPSM is an asset.
- Practical experience in mission humanitarian logistic management
- Minimum 3-years’ experience in procurement management
- Excellent team management skills, good listener, high communication skills.
